Brand Regard is about making it easy to find marketing and branding material. “Where’s our logo in high-resolution black and white?”. Three clicks later and it’s in your download folder – or in your designer’s inbox.

One part of making those three clicks as efficient as possible is showing users previews of their assets. When we launched Barnd Regard, we provided previews of image files such as PNGs, JPEGs and GIFs.

Now, our users can get previews of both PDF files, which are important because those high resolution logos are often PDFs, and Flash files (SWFs). What’s more, we’ve added a preview button to the list view, and to the icon view for flash files, so that users who prefer the list view can see a preview of the file they’re dealing with. If it’s a flash animation, hover over the preview button and the flash banner will start playing.

We’re getting a lot of great feedback from our users which is leading our efforts in making Brand Regard straightforward to use and we’ve got more features up our sleeve. Watch this space!
